These are links to my Amazon Influencer storefront, where I put together lists of PC parts used in my builds to help make the process easier for others looking to buy/build their own computer!

By buying your PC parts through my links, I'm able to earn a small amount of commission on purchases at no extra cost. It really goes a long way to support me as a small creator and I appreciate it a lot! <3

anyone can make a pc parts list, but sometimes hardware has mixed compatibility or issues.
i put together this PC build personally, built it by hand, and tested it to know that it WORKS/passes POST.
i've used it as my main work rig for at least 2 years! :D i love this PC build and it can be used as a workstation for video editing at 4k, colour grading, artwork, animation, gaming, content creation, all of that good stuff!

onto my tech notes about this build:
this PC DOES sacrifice cooling efficiency because of the water-cooling heart shape. i mean hey that's what you get when you prioritise a computer looking cute, and that's a trade-off i was happy to make!
... y'know that is, until it's summer and the weather hits 40C in the UK and i'm playing overwatch 2 on max settings.
then it's kind of a problem.
i fixed that by taking off the glass panel to help with airflow, and i placed a fan in front of it to blow cooler air inside. it's not a permanent or perfect fix, but my country only gets 2 weeks of BLISTERING HUMID HEATWAVE in summer, so it's a viable temp solution for the absolute state of the british climate.

also i'm fairly sure that the graphics card i used (ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 3090 OC) contributed massively to higher temps in this PC.
the GPU was like a miniature fireplace! it wasn't down to the lack of a water-cooled GPU backplate either, the card just seems to run quite hot. that's my experience of it anyway, not sure why it's like that.

i'd really recommend a different graphics card and i'd personally recommend the GIGABYTE AERO RTX 4080.
thing runs like a breeze and it's quiet, no coil whine that i've noticed, etc! i've been using the AERO GPU in a different rig, and it's genuinely great.
i've got benchmarks for it over on this page, if you're interested in details!
my PC no longer acts like a portable space heater and the card has a good reputation in the pc gaming community, as far as i've researched and in my experience!

last thing is that i noticed the AMD chipset on the motherboard seemed to have some hiccups when it came to USB connectivity. something about the chipset not being able to supply enough voltage to the USB headers which could cause some dropouts? i can't remember exactly, it was a bigger issue when i first booted up the pc in 2022, but i think i managed to troubleshoot it far enough where it didn't cause me as many issues? i'm not sure if AMD have provided a fix at the time i'm writing this in 2025 (email me if i'm wrong tbh idk)

MAN I NEED TO WRITE A FULL REVIEW OF THIS PC I HAVE SO MUCH TO YAP ABOUT LMAO
hi whoever reads this whole wall of text i hope it's insightful!!

one day i'll actually get around to developing this page properly i swear
